Piano technician William Harold will take care of your piano with signature precision, whether in the concert hall, recording studio or living room. He is also affiliated with A.C. Pianocraft of New York City, the acclaimed piano rebuilding company that has restored pianos for many of his clients, as well as all of his vintage Steinway inventory.

After graduating from Hampshire College with a dual degree in music and physics, William apprenticed at the Sohmer Piano company and then at A.C. Pianocraft. There he restored vintage Steinways, Mason & Hamlins, Bechsteins, Erards, Blüthners and other prominent pianos.

As the piano curator at Yale University's School of Music since 1997, he oversees the maintenance of an inventory of over 150 Steinway grand pianos during a busy concert season of faculty, students, and distinguished guest artists.
